Sins of the Flesh

Silver                           Kosher Salt

First: Wash with your every day soap and washcloth (bath or shower)

Second: Wash your body and feet with a clean cloth and kosher salt from the supermarket.

Add 2 scoops to a tub of water if bathing or a few table spoons

to a wash rag if showering.

When washing over your doors with the every day soap,

ask the Lord to help you stand guard against anything

that would try to come through that would not glorify Him.

When washing your feet, declare your willingness to be

an obedient servant and do what is pleasing to Him and

to be as the salt you are now bathing with. Matthew 5:13.

Salt in ancient times was used for covenant agreements,

preservation, taste, and purification. Num.18:19;2Chr.13:5;

Mat.5:13;Leviticus 2:13;Mar.9:50;Ezk.16:4

You may want to recite and meditate upon Psalm 23 or other Scripture speaking to your particular situation that you are asking for God’s help/ answers. Use a topical devotional to help you find Scripture verses by topic.

Keep your salt separate from your day-to-day

soap.
